754 - الْفَرقُ بَيْنَ الحسْن وَ الوَسامَةِ : أنَّ الوسامة هي الحسن الذي يظهر للناظر ويتزايد عند التوسم وهو التأمل , يقال : توسَّمته , إذا تأملته وهو على حسب ما قال الشاعر : يَزِيدُك وَجْههُ حُسْناً # إذا ما زدْتَهُ نَظَرا و الوسامة أبلغ من الحسن , وذلك أنك إذا كررت النظر في الشيء الحسن و أكثرت التوسم له نقص حسنه عندك, و الوسيم هو الذي تزايد حسنه على تكرير النظر .
